The Recovery team at SCC is dedicated to assisting its clients achieve their financial, operational and strategic goals. In each case we adopt a tailored and strategic approach to each client’s needs in order to find the best solution for all stakeholders. We often work closely with our in-house accounts, forensics and tax specialists to ensure commercial advice is provided in an efficient and effective manner.
We also have extensive experience in assisting clients in evaluating turnaround options and business restructuring. Such advice may include corporate simplification of the trading structure and operations and / or an accelerated M&A process in order to safeguard the core business activity.
Our focus on long term, sustainable recovery dictates that, where strategic and operational change can be introduced at an early stage, formal insolvency processes can be avoided.
Where this is not possible, our Recovery team – headed by our licenced Insolvency Practitioner Rory Moynagh – utilises a wealth of experience to provide advice and guidance on the range of options available to enact a rescue process. Any such formal corporate or personal insolvency procedure will be aimed at maximising returns to all stakeholders and where possible, preserve business goodwill, stakeholder value and employment.
